Growing a Connected Energy Future

A new approach to development
Renewable Energy Hubs bring together clean generation, long-duration energy storage and local energy demand in one coordinated model. By combining technologies such as solar, wind and geothermal with shared grid infrastructure, our hubs are designed to help reduce connection costs, support local energy needs and create long-term value for communities, businesses and local authorities.
Designed to Evolve
Our Renewable Energy Hubs are inspired by the Pando tree, one of the world’s largest living organisms, where separate trunks are connected by a shared root system.
In the same way, each hub is designed to grow, connect and strengthen over time. A hub may begin with a small number of renewable technologies and energy users, before expanding to include additional generation, long-duration storage and new local demand.
Smart energy management sits at the heart of the model, helping to balance generation, storage and use across the hub. This allows each site to operate efficiently, adapt as new technologies are added, and support a more resilient local energy system.
Over time, our hubs are designed to grow with the communities, businesses and industries they serve, delivering clean energy infrastructure with long-term local value.
